We are teachers at heart who love to share our expertise with youth for free.
At the same time, we use our Young Leader Training Camps as an opportunity to recruit staff for our companies, because we believe when people grow it is where we see their true nature.
Yanis
When the former Mathlethe moved to Zanzibar in 2020, he volunteered at two NGOs and pulled up Assalam's flagship camp program Africamps, whilst teaching his Swahili Grammar Crash Courses to foreigners. Now he is starting out with a Consulting Company whilst supporting an English Evening School for Zanzibarians in town.
Shan Ali
As a seasoned entrepreneur, he has successfully planned and launched three impactful companies, demonstrating a deep understanding of business strategy and sustainability. He is a passionate advocate for permaculture and regenerative garden design. He combines his knowledge of sustainable agriculture with hands-on expertise, leading a transformative 1-acre project in Zanzibar.
