His innovative approach bridges ecological harmony and practical living, inspiring others to embrace sustainable solutions.

Application Questions

apart from personal data like name and age, the following free-response questions are part of the application form:

Question Explanation
1 If you could design and run a camp from scratch, what would it be about? Write a few sentences about your dream camp including the name of the camp, the parameters (camper's age group, number of campers, location,
number of days), topics, structure, goal.

2 In a few sentences, describe your experience working with children (this can include siblings). Make sure you mention how you connect with children, and what motivates you the most to work with them.

3 Share an example of how you have demonstrated leadership in the past.
This can be at your school, university, community, social change project, family, friends or anywhere else.
4What motivates you to participate in this training? It can be a plenty of different reasons and motivations.
5Where do you see yourself in 5 years time? It's okay to dream big here :). We want to know what makes you passionate, what you burn for.

Your Contributions to the Training (Optional) - because we want our training to be practical and interactive, participants can offer Evening Activities, TED-style talks ("Camper Talk") or even Courses. If you have anything you want to offer, please briefly share what you have in mind below. Offering activities can increase your chance to be selected for the program. However it is up to our decision whether we include your proposal into the schedule or not.
6if you want to run a Course, share the contents here a course is a 90min classroom-style session where you introduce a topic (usually one which has something to do with leadership) and then do exercises or practice with the participants
7if you want to run an Evening Activity, share the contents here a course is a 30-90min fun activity which is held in the afternoon or evening. Some examples include: improv-theatre, social deduction games, economic simulation games, word games, sports, yoga, martial arts, terrain games
8if you want to hold a Camper Talk, share the contents here a Camper Talk is a 10-15min TED-style inspirational talk
We recommend that you ponder on the questions offline in a text editor and then - once you answered them - copy and paste them to the application form. That way you prevent your responses from being lost in case your internet connection breaks.
